Intimate Partner Violence Training for Health Care Professionals
Welcome to the Intimate Partner Violence Training Initiative, a collaborative effort led by the Philadelphia Department of Public Health, the Office of Domestic Violence Strategies, and the Lutheran Settlement House. This training is part of a transformative 5-year project funded by the Office on Women’s Health, aimed at improving the safety and well-being of birthing people in obstetric settings.
Our program equips healthcare professionals with critical skills for identifying, responding to, and referring cases of intimate partner and sexual violence. Through enhanced protocols and increased awareness, we are working to reduce maternal mortality linked to violence and build a sustainable, coordinated response across Philadelphia’s delivery hospitals. Join us in creating a safer, more responsive environment for all individuals in our obstetric and emergency care settings.
Note: This training is currently not open to the public and is exclusively for employees of Philadelphia delivery hospitals. To access the training, you must register using your institution's email address.
